Our BADGER ORION Cellular endpoints are shipped from the factory pre-programmed. Connect all three endpoint wires to an encoder to complete installation. The endpoint connection can be made to existing wires from the encoder or directly to the encoder terminal screws, depending on the application and manufacturer.
When you are adapting an ORION Cellular endpoint to registers from other manufacturers (such as Sensus, Neptune, or Hersey), cross-brand splicing is a standard practice documented in the Badger Meter ORION Water Endpoints Installation Manual.
